Meditations

Marcus Aurelius was a Roman emperor in the 2nd century A.D., the last of the five “Good Emperors”. But he was more than an emperor; he was a philosopher. His book, Meditations – which was, to him, a personal journal, not intended for any audience – has become one of the most important works in Stoic philosophy. A philosophy that is, above all, focused on the virtue of good, and the power of our own rational minds.

These are some passages that will resonate powerfully with anyone seeking to live a better, more fulfilling life.
